Parents are welcome to join their children for Christmas celebration on the 4th or the 5th December at 4 pm.  The staff look forward to coming together with you then.  Thanks ALLY

Our youngest children in Primrose room are invited with their parent/s to join us for a Christmas Tea on Thursday 21st December at 4 pm.  We look forward to seeing you all and meeting some new families too.

Hazel room parent evenings are on Tuesday 7 November, Wednesday 8 November and Thursday 9 November between 6.30 pm and 7.30 pm.

Hazel room Christmas Events are on Wednesday 13th December, Thursday 14th December and Friday 15th December all at 4 pm.

Please text if there are evenings or events that you can’t make so that we can confirm the date of the evening and the event for you.  We will also give you a guide on time for the parents evening.

Please make sure you text us (if you can’t make particular dates) by 6 pm on Thursday 2nd November in order for us to accommodate your needs.

A parent has asked us to distribute flyers for the Christmas Craft Fair down the hill next door to the nursery on 25th November.  Flyers will start going into front pockets of children’s rucksacks today.  Thanks ALLY

Snapchat – “dangerous new feature”
Surrey Police has issued a safety warning to children in the county using Snapchat. The
photo-inspired instant messaging app has released a potentially dangerous new feature
that shows everyone on your contact list exactly where you are at any point. Once you
update the app, your location will be instantly revealed.
Surrey Police said: “We are encouraging users to change their settings to ‘ghost mode’ to avoid sharing this
information. “If your children or other young people you know use Snapchat, encourage them to change
their settings too!”

The new modernised key rings recently delivered have not been robust enough for the job on rucksacks.  We will be rolling out a new style from tomorrow.  Thanks

From our flash uniform sale we raised £35.00 from second hand, pre-loved items.  This was a cash sale for stocking refreshments in the staff room.  We still have a few items left mainly one to two year old sizes.  Do ask if you wish to look.  We have seven families who still owe a small sum if they could bring the cash in, that would be great.  Thanks ALLY

A Brand New Primary School bordering Redhill and Reigate is opening.  Flyers will start to go out in Hazel room (pre-school) children’s ruck sacks today.  Thanks

The room representatives requested a more complicated gate code.  This has been done today for this evenings pick up or whenever you are next in at nursery.  It will be texted out to the main contact of each individual family this afternoon.  Thanks Ally

Sajitha has joined our staff team as a Level 3 student from East Surrey College.   Sajitha will be working in all areas of the nursery.  We look forward to her getting to know the children and parents meeting her.  Here is her photograph.
