Pre-school universal hours

It is that time again to come and complete your declarations for the Spring term 2018, I just need a parent of each child in pre-school to catch me to fill in the form here at nursery.  At the desk area or in the roundhouse, it will just take a couple of minutes please.  Thanks ALLY

Parents Evenings for Sunflower and Buttercup Rooms

These will take place from Monday 22nd January 2018 through until Wednesday 24th.  Between 6.30 and 7.30 pm.  Please could parents text in to let us know which dates they can make in order for us to spread attendance across the three dates.  We will confirm an approximate time and date early in the New Year.

Parents will also find the nursery document – ‘Don’t Bite, Teeth are not for Biting’ on the information page of this website, which they may find useful at this time.  Thanks ALLY

Events

We have enjoyed putting on the Sunflower and Buttercup and Cornflower Christmas Events.

Nursery has a busy week ahead of Christmas.  On Monday and Tuesday we have the Cornflower Christmas Events.  A few families in Cornflower have not confirmed their date of attendance with us, if they could kindly text this to us for our numbers and organisation.  Thank you

Later in the week we have the Primrose Christmas Tea and our whole Nursery Christmas lunch for the children.

Staff News

Rob has sadly decided to cease employment with us due to ill health and will be taking a couple of months out to recover.

David will be moving on at the end of the year.  We have had lots of fun over the last seven years, especially making the Men in Playwork DVD for Surrey County Council!  His presence will be missed by many families.  Good luck Dave. . .

For those who are not aware, Afsheen is expecting her second child.  ‘Congratulations’.  Afsheen will have a break from nursery later in 2018.

Emily (my manager) has confirmed her intention to return to nursery in 2018.  We will let you know when to expect her in due course.

We have new staff to introduce in 2018, we will offer an introduction evening for the whole staff team in January.  Individual photo introductions will go onto the website and notice boards at the nursery exit point as always.

Cornflower Room Christmas Celebrations

Children and staff from Cornflower room will come together for their Christmas celebrations on either 18th or 19th December at 4 pm.  We look forward to parents joining us at one of those events.

Primrose Christmas Tea

Our youngest children in Primrose room are invited with their parent/s to join us for a Christmas Tea on Thursday 21st December at 4 pm.  We look forward to seeing you all and meeting some new families too.

Hazel Room date information

Hazel room parent evenings are on Tuesday 7 November, Wednesday 8 November and Thursday 9 November between 6.30 pm and 7.30 pm.

Hazel room Christmas Events are on Wednesday 13th December, Thursday 14th December and Friday 15th December all at 4 pm.

Please text if there are evenings or events that you can’t make so that we can confirm the date of the evening and the event for you.  We will also give you a guide on time for the parents evening.

Please make sure you text us (if you can’t make particular dates) by 6 pm on Thursday 2nd November in order for us to accommodate your needs.
