Parents of pre-school children are invited to attend our phonics evenings on Wednesday 29th May and Thursday 30th May between 6.30 and 7.30 pm, one evening will cover ‘reading’ and one evening will cover ‘writing’. Is on Thursday 7th March. Children are invited to bring a book from home to nursery. They may also dress as a book character should they wish. Parents are also invited to come along and read to a group of children on the day, please can this be before tea time. Do let us know if you would like to do this. Thank you

A reminder that it is Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 14th December.  It would be lovely if children and adults wore their Christmas Pullovers!  This coincides with one of the Sunflower/Buttercup Christmas Events too.  The day is to raise money for Save The Children and we will have a box ready for pennies.

Our Christmas Events all take part in the outdoor classroom from 4.15 pm.  Please let us know by text or email as to which event you can make.  As we are space restricted it would be handy to know if one or two adults will accompany your child to enable us to plan for larger child groups when less adults are present.  Thanks for your cooperation with this.  The Dates are:-

Primrose – Tuesday 11th December

Sunflower/Buttercup – Thursday 13th or Friday 14th December

Cornflower –  Wednesday 12th, Tuesday 18th or Friday 21st December

Hazel – Wednesday 19th or Thursday 20th December.

Exciting. . .

Esther will be leaving us on 14 December after ten months with us.  We have enjoyed having her on our team.  She has struggled with journey times to work and feels better placed within a corporate company.  Esther has found a large school which is close to her vicinity to be suiting.  The Christmas events will be an ideal time to wish her good luck.

We welcome Louise to our team today who lives locally and has seven years of nursery experience, she will be a great compliment to our team on a part time basis.

Four of our staff, Ani, Charlie, Courteney and Juan have just recently completed their level three qualifications.  And will become newly qualified in the New Year.

The senior Management team are completing interviews this week , although internal promotions for the New Year are likely.  Don’t forget Afsheen will be back with us later in the Spring.

We are taking deliveries of children’s outdoor clothing items.  All in ones, two pieces and coats for the rain ahead.  We have our display in the roundhouse for you to look at and stock here.  Do come and take look if you would like to.  Thanks Ally

Nursery is offering coffee and pastries next Tuesday 9th October.  Pop into the roundhouse at drop off or if you are passing.  Grab and go service too!

Stocks are arriving of our cold weather uniform. We are down to the last items of old logo uniform to clear at half price. These are the core items of uniform, exactly the same now but with new logo. Fleeces, sweatshirts, team coloured tshirts, long sleeved tshirts and cardigans. We have a few green team sweatshirts and long sleeved tshirts too. We also have a few items of pre-loved uniform which are free and we are happy to take donations for the bluebell staff room! Let us know if you wish to take a look.

Many of my staff team are here tomorrow (Friday 24th August) evening until 6.30 pm.  Parents do come along and meet the team, chat to those you know, you are very welcome.  Thanks ALLY
